Large Seed Production Research Intern

You will be a great fit if you have experience similar to: 

• Data collection: Working in agricultural field conditions measuring and counting, writing legibly, using tablets and technology comfortably.

• Taking detailed pictures of plants, fields, and work activities.

• Monitor cultural care for trials: maintaining plant spacing, weeding, rogueing, pollinating and other activities.

• Visits to outdoor Sweet Corn and Garden Bean nursery and production fields.

• Assisting group work activities: Harvesting, transporting, and using small research equipment to carry out research objectives.

• Assisting with post harvest management and distribution of research samples/material.

• Other duties and operating equipment as needed.

To be considered, you will need:

• 1 year of college pursuit of a degree supporting a role in the seed industry.
