You will be a great fit if you have experience similar to:

• Performs routine servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, controls, and electrical systems for dust collection, milling, packaging, and treating equipment.

• Plans and manages own work efficiently to meet productivity goals, project timelines, and preventative maintenance schedules.

• Ensures adherence to safety procedures and practices, attending safety meetings and suggesting improvements. Knowledge of NFPA 79 is a plus.

• Installs new machinery, including assembly, placement, anchoring, and electrical and control wiring.

• Troubleshoots and resolves breakdowns of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, mechatronic, and controls systems.

• Coordinates with contractors to ensure work is completed as per specifications.

• Works from layout plans, blueprints, manuals, sketches, or verbal instructions.

• Completes work orders using HIPPO CMMS and requests spare parts or materials through company email.

• Familiarity with proper chemical and hazardous waste handling procedures and SDS documents.

• Knowledge of local codes, safety regulations, confined space entry, LOTO, fall protection, elevated work, cooling systems, chillers, and boilers.


Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of vibratory screeners setup, operation, troubleshooting, and repair.

  • Proficiency in forklift and boom lift operation, with the potential for certification.

  • Skills in TIG/MIG/Stick welding and oxy/acetylene cutting/brazing, including plasma cutting.

  • Experience with 480/230 three-phase and low voltage AC and DC installation and troubleshooting.

  • Competence in basic machining using drill press, band saws, mill, and lathe.

  • Capability in basic sheet metal fabrication using shears, brakes, and rolls.

  • Familiarity with measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, indicators, bore gauges, and tapes.

  • Basic millwright, rigging, and layout skills.

  • Proficiency basic math and English language (reading, writing, speaking).

Job requirements

To be considered, you will need:

  • GED, High School Diploma, or equivalent experience.

  • 5 years of industrial maintenance experience required, 2-5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

HM.CLAUSE offers a strong compensation and benefits package to its employees:

  • Competitive salary

    5+ years of experience - $31 - $32/hr

    10+ years of experience - $33 - $35/hr

    15+ years of experience - $36 - $38/hr

Our total compensation and pay ranges reflect our market pay structures. As such, individual salaries or hourly rates are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: local geographical market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as job related skills, education, and experience.
