You will be a great fit if you have experience similar to:
· Participate in projects in the lab, greenhouse and field (95% of total activity)
· Grow plants in greenhouse and field conditions
· Guarantee maintenance, collection and disposal of plant materials from greenhouse
· Enter lab results and perform labor tracking via written and/or computer entries
· Prepare media and plant pathogen cultures in the lab
· Perform lab and greenhouse housekeeping duties that includes glassware cleaning, equipment maintenance, etc.
· Keep records of activities required in routine application accountabilities in a timely and accurate manner
· Assist with execution of diagnostic assays
· Support station phytosanitary activities
· Follow workplace safety rules, regulations, standards and practices
· Other duties as assigned
Job requirements
To be considered, you will need:
· High School diploma
· Experience working in agriculture or biological sciences desirable
· English language written and spoken
· Basic math comprehension
